Mission:

The college aims to achieve its objectives by preparing scientific specialists in plastic and theatrical arts, applied arts, and art education, instilling cultural values and ethical, societal, and educational ideals in graduates' personalities, adopting scientific and artistic means to address cultural, artistic, and educational problems in the country, fostering the effectiveness of working as a team to solve problems, and promoting interdisciplinary research. Visions:

The College of Fine Arts is in a state of expansion on all levels, including educational curricula, the number of students admitted in the future and planned for the future, and the number of branches in scientific departments, with the possibility of eliminating some branches to become a single college, to get the maximum benefits.

Goals:

• Promote the scientific-technological movement and high-level scientific research for everyone who aspires to be qualified according to the development plan.
• Meet Iraqi ministries' and other sectors' demand for technical and instructional staff in fine arts fields such as

• A-Preparing professors, scientists, and artists.

  B- Secondary art teachers.

  C- Train artists in painting, sculpture, ceramics, interior design, graphic design, industrial design, fabric design, radio and TV, cinematic arts, Arabic calligraphy and decorating, musical arts, and performing arts, including acting, directing, and techniques.

• Preparing arts specialists in strict conformity with the study time, its circumstances, and its content with societal and development plan criteria, and awarding bachelor's, diploma, master's, and doctoral degrees.
• Postgraduate studies and scientific and technical research based on technology, science, and technology changes.
• Contribute to an artistic cultural environment congruent with social and moral principles and real Arab and Islamic values within socialist reforms.
• Emphasizing art's role as a revolutionary tool in building society and establishing scientific tendencies in creative thought to solve societal problems.
• Using artistic, literary, scientific, and material approaches to ensure teacher and researcher uniqueness and creativity.
• Guide and choose their scientific, technological, and professional activities and specialisations within the development plan, and provide them with the relevant resources.
• Teaching students to use scientific methods to solve challenges and overcome obstacles.
• Creating a well-balanced student personality (thinking and behaviour) and fostering invention, creativity, renewal, and initiative.
